Didn't want to hijack a (similar) earlier thread........ ;) Some background: Have propagated annuals/vegetables for 4-5 years using all the right equipment & tutored by Dave! ;) Last Spring built my first (small, heated) GH that I'm still getting a feel for...... Just sowed about 200 pelleted seeds of wax (fibrous) Ambassador F1 begonias........ I'm allowing 14-16 weeks from my LFD (May 1) for the plant out date...... Surface sown in a flat of Pro MIx BX, misted & covered.... placed under a 4' T8 2 bulb fixture (on 16 hrs/day)..... on heat mats (73F), in a germinator...... I'll pull them at first sign of germination & place them under 4' 4 bulb T8 lights until they form their first true leaves, at which time I'll pot them up slightly........ What have I missed so far?
Follow-Up Postings:

Just patience - lots of it - and maybe a few degrees more heat if possible to speed things up (75-78). I never use pelleted seeds so you might have to mist them a bit extra if the pellets don't seem to be dissolving. Dave

Thanks Dave! You still da man! ;) I'm not seeing the pellets, so I assume they've dissolved.. Gave them a good misting when sowed.......... Time I have (ie, retired), patience, well............ About how long till germination? I've read from days to weeks.......
