| I read that Five Spot is native to CA and that they bloom from March until June and that they're good for a basket. My thing is, I don't want to put them in a basket and have nothing but green in my basket from June on when our planting season doesn't really start until May. So I'm wondering since CA warms up quicker, has an earlier spring than us, that if I plant them outside in May, would they last all summer long? So in CA they bloom from March to June, so maybe they'll bloom from May to August here??
I've never grown them before but really like them and thought I'd fill my baskets a little with them. I'm trying to save on plants this year, not buy as many, but I want my baskets to look nice. I plan on mixing them with some trailing petite Marigolds (Starfire) that I grew last year and some Wave Petunias that I got seed from my plants last year. Thanks for any info!
