| Hello All,
It's been a long time since I've visited this site! But, tis the season for garden planning and seed starting! YAY!! I have a question for you all, I'm just a little confused about when it is safe to set my johnny jump ups outside in the spring. I am growing 3 types; the typical JJU's, and two other Viola cornutas. I believe it is safe to set them out up to 2 weeks BEFORE the last frost, but I am not sure...does that sound right? I usually buy pansys in the spring, but I wanted to try and grow JJU's for two reasons; because they are perennials, and it will save me lots of $. I was thinking I should start them soon, cause they take 10-12 weeks to flower and I really want them to be flowering when I plant them outside. Any input would be great!
