Well Ya Can't Make That From Styrofoam & Duct Tape!

Took Dave's advice on "thinking outside the box" & constructed this somewhat crude but effective germination station. 3/4" PVC frame with 3/4" styrofoam insulation & endless duct tape........

| Good job! I assume it is working well? Now next year you just have to double it or you can use the oven on that stove over there. :) Dave |

| Thanks Dave! Yeah, it does work well...... Now why didn't I think of using my ol' oven? This seed starting is like cancer, so I'll prolly need it (the oven) next year! I've got my broccoli & cauliflower up & running under lights & I'm doing some germination testing on some questionable seeds from way back. Can't wait to start germinating my annuals & other veggies! |

| neat looking contraption. does the styrofoam insulate so that it stays warmer inside? |

| Thank ya! Indeed it does work! Bought a new digital Therm this year (for my heat mats), so I had to build a "germination station" because my heated shop wasn't cutting it..... Houses 4 mats nicely. $50 bucks, if ya include the duct tape! ;) |
