We planted peppers 2-11-2012. We planted Totally Tomato: Sweet Heat, Golden Treasure, Super Hvy Wt. Hybrd., Burpee: Golden Giant 2 Hybrd., Great Stuff Hybrd.

They are in a room where the temp. is approx. 74-76 degrees. We have a double T-8 32 watt cool white light as well about 2" - 2 1/2" above the plants.

We started them in a "seed starter greenhouse kit 50 peat pots". They sprouted on 2-17-2012, 6 days later. They looked great, and were doing fine so we took the dome off and just a few hours later (4-5 hours at most) noticed that a few of them looked like they were nuked! They had started wilting. The others seemed to be fine? Can anyone tell us what we did wrong and why only some of them were affected while others remained strong? Was it because these ones were "weaker" and the light was a little too strong yet without the dome ? Maybe we should have kept the dome on a little longer?

Thanks,

Rhonda, Confused
