Was that abuse? The suggestion for the search term was helpful and may have given the OP one extra 20-seconds step over direct linking. Following the suggestion, the first database that comes up in Google is Clothiers, one of the very best. Next is the out of print T&M database linked by both ourgardengang and backyardgardener - it's another that is very good. Followed by hardyplants.com, another reliable source. Easy to bookmark and reference. |

| My rule if I was a scarifier (I know that isn't a word but it means a person that scarifies seed, at least it should be a word) if they are big thick seeds like paw paw and you do not get germination try scarifying it. |

| most legumes need to be scarified i believe... A few others as well... but i think most of the legumes definitely need it i just went through this with mimosa strigillosa.... i found toenail clippers to be the easiest tool to use :) |

| hey goblugal, i wasn't being sarcastic!!! was saying THANKS, lots of info. i saved the link for further use. guess u could take it the wrong way. i never say ugly things here. all help is useful, even if they just say they don't know. at least i know i am not the only 1 not knowing. so THANKS everyone.gotta find some bigger toenail clippers.lol. joyce |
