Has anyone used disposable recyclable plastic drinking cups for potting-up seedlings? Any reason not too?

| I pot up from cell packs to 8oz cups, then to 16oz cups before hardening off my plants. |

| All my pots are recycled. I start with cells an then into 4 inch plastic nursery pots. I am sure most of mine are over 10 years old, used over many times. Each transplant causes a check in the growth, so I try and limit number of pot ups. Al |

| Yeah, even the 'disposable' cups will last for years. When mine finally crack, I cut them into wedges that I use for labels. My cell packs are saved and used again, too. |

| I love to use styrofoam cups. They come in two sizes and they're very cheap! Also it's easy to write on the outside of them with a marker. Love em. |

| I bought a box of 120 plastic pots about 4 inches each. I use over and over and over. I gather all old pots from trees I buy. It is handy to cover my little vegetable plants from the nasty storms. Also I use some as a holder for my cantaloupe where the vine climbs on the fence and I have to support teh fruit or I will lose them. I alsways looking for old pots. |
