Seeding and leaf mold

MarkeMark

I just finished mowing the last of the leaves from the fall and I think I'm going to do a wildflower mix in this area. In some parts of the area the leaf material is built up and it's hard to tell were the leaf mold ends and the soil begins. My plan is to turn it under but afraid to stir up the weed seeds. I might do this next year if the wild look doesn't work for me. Should I remove the ground up leaves and sow the seeds directly on the soil or just let it ride.
