limp seedlings

I sowed some seeds on March 6 in a covered tray: eggplant, jalapeno, bell pepper, banana pepper, coleus and impatients. They are all doing pretty well since I put them under a grow light. The thing is this is the first time I've started seeds in this house... last year I had a green house like room to start in. I was unaware that you are supposed to uncover the seedlings once they show up... so I left the cover on and they are fine. Once I take the cover off for about 10 minutes the leaves start to go limp, curl up and look terrible. But if I replace the cover, in about 10-20 minutes they start to perk up. What's with that?! The stems are fine, the room temp is about 65 and I have the lid slightly propped for ventilation. I just am worried about taking the cover off for too long... I don't want them to die! Ideas? Suggestions? Words of wisdom?
