I've been reading all over the internet and I see alot of conflicting ideas about growing daylilies from seed.
I havn't tried this before, so thought I'd ask here before jumping head first into it.
How do they germinate best for you ? Thanks !

smokymist,
You might want to post this question in the daylily forum as these people have a ton of knowledge to share. Here is a link the that forum: Daylily Forum.
And here's a post that might even answer your question: Improving seed germination rates

I don't have much luck with daylily seed, no matter what I try, but the people on that forum seem to have five green thumbs! I wish you luck.

Soak seed in water for 5 days then store at 40F for 6 weeks....Then lightly cover the seed. soil temp 70F & takes 14-50 days to germinate then 24 weeks to be large enough to set out green..... takes 2-3 years to bloom from seed.

Hi - I germinated mine in a sealed baggy, in a damp paper towel. It worked! Goodluck and don't give up.
If, I can do it anyone can! tina_2
