| I am planning on fertilizing my tomato seedlings that I potted up about a week ago, but I can't find information on actual volume of fertilizer.
I have the Neptune fish fertilizer, and I was planning on mixing 1/4 t to 1 cup of water - however, how much does each seedling get? A drop? A regular watering? Somewhere in between? Is there any good site for information on how much you should fertilize? I tend to be a literal person, and I see a lot of information on frequency, but not volume of fertilizer. I suppose that's something that you learn over time, but I'm still pretty new at this! Thanks for helping out a confused newbie! |

| Start with 1/2 T per gallon of water and increase to 1 T per gallon if the plants look like they need more. Neptune's works great. Jon |

| Sorry about the double post! Water the seedlings when the medium is almost dry. Water until water flows from the bottom of the containers and the medium is saturated. I usually feed every other or every third watering. Jon |
