| I started my seeds a little late (like around April 11). Now I have seedlings that just have true leaves coming out, but I have passed our first frost date (4/15).
The temperature for the next 3 days will be from 57F to 71F. After that it will go down a little: next week it will be 42F to 68F. I am going to put the seedlings out today. My question is, with the temperatures mentioned above, do I still need to take them in each day? It looks like there won't be any frost in the night anymore. TIA! |

| For the first few days, no matter what the night time temperature is predicted to be, I take my plants in at night. After a few days of that, if we're predicted a mild night, I'll leave them out. From that point, I'll play it by ear. If it's a little cool, I'll leave them out; if it's predicted to be nasty, I'll bring them in. I don't like to risk undoing all my good, careful seed starting results by being "greedy" about hardening them off. |
