Too late to start Salvia Blue Bedder?

My Ruellia is not doing anything after a month, so I'm thinking of starting some Salvias. Is it too late? I've got some seeds from a trade and don't mind waiting until July for blooms.

Go figure. Everyone says ruellia is a weed, but I can't grow it!

It might work for you, but it could be closer to August before you see bloom. Aprox 2 weeks to germinate, roughly 12 weeks to bloom from germinatiom on average.
