Thought I'd share a useful method of watering seedlings that has been working for me. I bought a 6 pack of squeeze bottles from SAMS ($4.28). Because the tip is long and narrow, I can stick it into the dirt and water deeply the roots without getting the seedling wet. Seems to be working quite well. I use it for watering with the diluted fertilized water as well. I posted a picture of the bottles. Happy gardening!

Do you notice the hard stream of water disturbing the roots at all? I have seen root disturbance and damage from just normal top watering with a sprinkling can so I would think the pressure from a squeeze bottle would disturb the roots. Dave

The best thing I've found for watering seedlings is a turkey baster. It has worked for me for many years.I don't think I'd stick anything down in the roots. Rose

715 Rose do you just squeeze water near but not on seedlings or do you actually put the baster in the dirt
