seed ID: Asteraceae with very long pappus

Hi there,
I thought, I`d give it a shot.
A few days ago I found a smallish seed with about five long "hair things" attached to it, which I thought was a pappus, and about 3 or 4 inches long, in our flat.
I probably had picked it up on my clothes while walking either through town or our small zoo (Europe, Switzerland, Basel).

So basically like a dandelion seed with a long bit on it. The seed was dark, shorter and thinner than an average dandelion seed.

Couldn`t find it later on, so sorry, no pics. But I thought that someone could recognize it if they had dealt with it before.

Just curious, thanks anyway, bye,

Lin

Nothing but a wild guess but it sounds like something from the thistle family. Milk thistle, bull thistle, maybe asclepias. No way to know for sure.
