 o
Source for STURDY plug trays?

I love growing from seed, but the typical cell trays available from local sources are pretty flimsy and hold up for only 1-2 growing seasons before the bottoms are broken or the tray is sagging. I'd like something sturdy and reusable where the seedlings can be easily popped out without wrecking the tray. I can't tell from the online adverts whether a tray fits my criteria or is more of the same throwaway quality. I want to try the varying size plug trays to experiment with growing perennials for my own use (mass plantings) and would appreciate a recommendation available for retail purchase.

I buy mine from Charley's Greenhouse. These days I'm sowing mostly perennials, shrubs, trees but my deep cell plug trays from Charley's are many years old and holding up well. I haven't bought the more shallow trays for annuals/vegetables recently enough to know if the quality is the same as always but I've never had a disappointing order from them, all my propagating supplies are ordered from Charley's.

I'm not sure they are on the right side of the country for you to consider shipping, they are close for me.

Here is a link that might be useful: Earlier thread with other suppliers named
