Rain lily: Seed to bloom?

A double blooming rain lily bulbs is the garden. Plans are to take the seed and grow them to a blooming stage. I want to see if the same genetic trait will be passed down. Any idea how long it take for rain lilies to go from seed to bloom?

Thx for whatever feedback you can give me.

Fast for a bulb - One to three years, one being when grown under ideal conditions. (rich moist soil high in organic content). Short viable seed, sow - seed barely covered - soon after harvest. (Pacific Bulb Society)
