| Any special requirements for Pasque flower seeds to get them to germinate?
My Pasque flowers were beautiful this year. I purchased 2, 1 gallon containers several years ago. I didn't realize how many plants were actually in the containers until the next year when they started blooming. The colors are pink, red, and purple. I really enjoy the flowers and the seed heads, so now I want to grow them from seed. I always enjoy the plants that I grow from seed more then ones that I have purchased. Thanks, rita-r |

| Warm, cold, cool germinator. You can sow seeds when fresh, top the pot with grit to discourage algae/moss, leave outdoors for germination the following late winter or spring. Or try approx 71ºF for 4 weeks, move to 39ºF for 6 weeks, move to 50ish for germination |

| I'm bumping this thread, as I just acquired some pasque flower seeds. Can I plant them now or wait? The ground is frozen, but I do have some garden soil to throw over them. many thanks. |

| You really will have better germination with the pasque flower seeds if you provide a warm moist period to begin with. Approximate temperatures and timing - 71F for 4 weeks, move to 39F for 6 weeks, move to 50ish for germination |
