a friend is renovating old house and will be replacing ALL old windows -- every one of them is a set of old glass multi-pane windows and a one-piece storm window in the front. I always read about people using old pane windows for cold frame/green house purpose. Do you use just the pane windows or the storm windows too? The storm windows are on a thin white plastic-looking frame, so I am not sure how I can secure/attach them to any frame. Any ideas? pictures of what you've done? Thank you |
