seed recommendation

Looking for a good indoor tomato seed... I'm thinking Roma sized fruit... The space allotted allows for 2' tall plants... I would like to be able to grow and harvest them year round indoors, and harvest the seeds.... Hopefully get enough fruit off of one or two of these plants to keep 1 person in tomatoes...

Something hardy and relatively easy to grow....

Any such animal exist?

Also need a source for them...

Thanks!

Well, Marianna's Heirloom Seeds has dwarf open-pollinated tomato seeds. It would be a real stretch to get even dwarf tomatoes to max out at two feet, but you could prune them.

It's really hard to get tomatoes to produce reliably inside unless you have greenhouse conditions. But hey, when it comes to gardening, you never know until you try. You can also try the tomato forum, which is home to a lot of knowledgable tomato nuts.

Thanks! I will do what it takes to create greenhouse conditions...

While I am largely ignorant of this whole vegetable garden thing, I am pretty stubborn, and i will conquer this! I will, I will, I will!

LOL

And I will post this question in the other forum, thanks for the recommend!

Tomatoes not grown in full sun, do not produce well. As you know light will be your problem, look into how you will get the number of foot candles of light produced by the sun, into your inside location. Al
