Avocando plant, help with seed

Hello!

I have planted an avocado plant from seed almost a year ago (indoor). Everything seemed ok besides some brown tips on some leafs.
However, I just noticed that one side of the seed goes seriously roten. I don't know what is wrong or what I can do to correct this...Watering should not be a problem..
Is it because I tried to pull the toothpick some weeks ago? Should I use a fertilizer? Maybe it needs to be covered with more soil?

Any advice would be helpful!

If it is that old then yes, it is well past time for it to have been planted in soil. See the how-to FAQ linked below.

Dave thank you very much for your responce!
But it's been already in the soil for months now. By "covered with more soil" I mean if I need to cover the seed more than 50% or something...
