are these ready to transplant?

NOTE: This is my first time growing seedlings by myself, so I really don't know how to tell when they're ready to be transplanted. I don't want to make the mistake of transplanting too early, and/or when they're too old (checked in w/growth).

I was told that when a pumpkin seedling is 2-3 weeks old, it's ready to transplant. Unfortunately I didn't write down when it germinated.

Since melons are also in the same family as squash etc. I have same questions about when to transplant them.

It's being grown in a 3" peat pot. It has it's baby leaves, and two true leaves. The 3rd true leaf is just starting to come in; it's a bud, too small to even be a full sized leaf yet.
