 o
seed containers

I have seeds that are sprouting now and I need to put them in small plastic or cardboard individual containers until they are more developed. They have to be thinned out a bit. Makes no difference if the containers are reusable or not.

I initially just planted them in 2 inch high plastic large lids that you typically put under pots for water runoff. Next year I will start them in individual containers.

Looking for a source for these types of containers or othe recommended options. Would dixie cups like you find in the supermarket work. How many times can you transplant before it hurts the plants.

Thanks

If you want to plant in individual containers, I would look into making my own paper pots. Search under'pot makers'and lots of information should be available. Al
