Hi all,

I am a new gardener, and very ambitious. I have 25 containers on my patio at the moment. I direct sowed into the containers on May 1st. Everything has germinated beautifully as far as I can tell. Here's what I planted in the various containers:

Morning Glories (heavenly blue, pearly gates, grandpa ott)

Moonflowers

Pink Zinnias

Envy Zinnias

Bachelor Buttons

Sunflowers (chianti and mammoth)

Sweet pea

Dwarf snapdragon

Cosmos (bright lights and psyche)

Bells of Ireland

Fountain Lobelia

Convolvulus

Ensign Morning Glories

Nasturtium (Empress of India)

Marigolds

Like I said, I'm very ambitious. So this leads to my two questions:

1. How thin do I need to thin/prick these "seedlings" (they're pretty tall now, so I'm not quite sure they qualify as seedlings anymore). I thin them almost everyday and they seem to grow back even faster.

2. Anticipation is driving me crazy! Like I said, I'm new to this, so I'm not sure when I can expect blooms...mid-June? Early July? August???? I can't wait!
