| Hi, I've heard people suggest Marigolds instead of cosmos, but I can't find some in the shop so I bought Mums instead, I saw at the back that Mums grow on well-fertilized soil, any climate, and that it's really easy to grow. Growing rate: 3/5!
I'm too scared of wasting my Cosmos so I'll save it when it's, maybe in early Sept. I'll try planting my Cosmos! But for now, I'll try my green thumb on some Mums, I already planted them, and I already put it out in the sun. It's only for like. . . 3 1/2 hours, I want to grow perfect flowers so anyone who can tell me straight away how to PLANT, GROW, and CARE for Mums will be most appreciated. Thanks again guys! And keep on digging! |

| Mums are robust growers that often grow too tall and fall over before blooming. Starting them so late in the year that may not be a problem, but should be anticipated. Here in California where we have a long growing season, I have to pinch them back at least twice. Al |
