| Well, some of you may be aware of how proud I am of what I dubbed my "Monster Cherry Tomato" plants this year. I just got a darn great strain of seeds or something. So, obviously I want to save some for years to come! =) I will ferment the ones I do save, but just as a test I took one mater, got the seeds out of it, dried them out on a plate and planted them in a spare container I had. Well, after a week and a half, in full sun, the plants are 2-3 inches tall already...from seed!!! Yay! So, the Monster gene carried on to the future generation...lol. There's a pic below I took of this test seed pot a few days ago (Saturday, I think). They are a good bit bigger than that now (2nd set of leaves same size as first & looking good). I want to save as many seeds as possible, so I will be able to trade some to anyone who wants them. Anyways, here's the pic of the test seed pot & a link below if you want to see how the 2 "Monster Cherry Tomato" plants I have growing this year progressed. I can't currently take pictures of the plants because they are too big! lol... |

| Update, as of about 3 & 1/2 weeks below. They definitely are continuing along the "Monster Cherry Tomato" plant path. =) |
