Oleander seeds true to parent?

At the risk of seeming stupid, I have a question and I appreciate any helpful responses. I am trying to find out if oleander seeds are true to the parent plant in terms of flower color. Oleander flowers can self-fertilize, as well as be fertilized by insects, so it would make sense that seeds would be a mix of parental flower types and non-parental flower types. For those experienced in gardening with oleander, is this actually the case? I saw that there were several listing on ebay for seeds of specific varieties of oleander. Thanks in advance.

Maybe the sellers self-pollinated the flowers, and then covered the flower to prevent insect pollination?
