Just received some Devil's Claw (Proboscidea Parviflora var. Hohokamiana) seeds from a trade

I'm in SoCal / Z10
Is it cool to sow them
Or
Is it to late in the season to try to start them

Only have 5 to play with
So don't want to mess things up

Thanx

Lightly cover the seed..SOIL temperature for germination 70-75F & takes 15-42 days to germinate.
Since this is a zone 10 plant you can start ANY TIME & then set out
soil temp is critical for germination.....
