| How long is it safe for a seedling to leave it on the heat pad after it germinates? It's more like a warm pad, but anyhoo. 'Cause one of the seeds has germinated but the others haven't and I don't wanna just take it out of the propagator without getting it adjusted to lower humidity conditions first. Could I leave it in there and on the pad until the rest germinate then crack open the lid and slowly remove it?
Thanks so much! I really don't wanna lose this seedling 'cause it's the first cactus seed I've gotten to germinate for me after several unfruitful attempts. |

| Check soil temperature.. if its betwem 75-80F then no problem as that is the ideal temperature for germination & growing on.... some cactus seed takea year or more to germinate so after the new plant gets to transplant size go ahead & still keep germination tray on heat |

| If you plant a mix of seeds in the same planting container, when the first ones germinate and need more air circulation the rest need the humidity. For this reason I never mix seeds in one container. Al |
