Planting Maltese Cross

I am looking for information on planting Maltese Cross. I've never had these in my garden before. So amount of light, planting depth, type of soil, When to plant, and any special instructions i.e. scarification, stratification...would be helpful.

Thank you for any help you can offer.

Full sun, they will tolerate partial shade. They prefer loose, rich soil that drains well. Drought tolerant once fully established.

Lychnis chalcedonica: No pretreatment of seed is necessary. Sow barely covered 68F, germinates approx two weeks.
