First, I am not sure where you got your seeds from but one has to know that seeds from hybrid varieties that are often found in grocery stores will not grow true from seeds.

You don't have to wait for them to sprout to plant. Many seeds are given the cold they need then planted. Like any other seed you will have to make sure to keep the medium moist.

I often plant lots of seeds in the same pot then after they get their first set of true leaves separate them to their own starter cell.

I'm located in middle Tennesse . The apple seeds that are sprouting are from the local grocery store as did two of the peach seeds. The rest of the peach seeds came from my fathers peach tree. Its not a hybrid as far as we know.
