| I'm curious whether anyone has any experiences--positive or negative--with a seed company called "CherryGal". They have quite a variety of interesting seeds and they sell them for small amounts of money--however each packet only contains a few seeds. For some things this limits you--10 corn seeds, for example, but on the other hand 25 broccoli seeds is enough for most of us. So for me it would be a way to test new varieties for very little money and then buy more from another company (or possibly save seeds) if I really like them. A great idea in my opinion.
I think they've mainly been an Ebay company, but now they have an online store. The only place I can find any ratings are on Ebay, but I tend to consider those meaningless. So input would be useful.
I bought 4 packs of seeds at $1.25 each (+ postage of $3.36 for a total of $8.36). I have to say, service was great. My order was delayed but I was warned in advance of that--some seeds hadn't been harvested yet. So far so good--the real test of course is germination. And the orders are too small to directly test it.
So anyway, it seems like a very cool idea and in my limited exposure a well-run operation. I suppose the question boils down to whether or not they have reliable sources for their seeds.
