Trimming burning bushes in spring

| Can I trim down my burning bushes. They have their buds ofcoarse on the tops stems, but just are too tall and sticky. We should have done the trim in the fall but my husband has a bad back and it got cold quickly. Will I kill them? |

| Will it kill them? Alas, probably not. I mean, it will probably be fine, and you don't have to wait until they bloom unless you like the blooms. |
