Schrubs for Side of house

I am looking for schubs to put along side of house in picture. Basically to simply cover up foundation of house. Not much sun, little rain due to under roofline, but I do have sprinkler system that will get the area wet. I would only like the schrubs to grow to 3-4 feet tall. Maybe 2 feet out from the house. Rochester, NY.
Any suggestions. Thanks!!
