Maybe I should post this on the topiary forum but I don't want to get anybody's back up! I've never liked shrubs pruned in geometric shapes and have always pruned mine to grow naturally. We've just bought a new house with lovely landscaping but with all of the shrubs pruned in the shape of little balls. Can I grow them out to a natural shape or will they always look odd like sloppy topiary? Should I just take them out and start over with something else?
