I cut this overgrown shrub down to little nubs in fall 2003. It sprouted a little last year and grew to be 8 inches high and didn't look as ratty as it had so I let it live (benevolent soul that I am;). Now it looks terrific and I have no idea what it is. Any clue? (a closeup of the buds is in the inset)
