Information about Lagerstromia indica 'Midnight Magic'

I am interested in planting a Lagerstromia indica 'Midnight Magic'. This is a brand new cultivar that was just released spring '13. Has anyone purchased this shrub who can tell me how it has performed during the first year? I read about it a little bit on firsteditionplants.com, but that doesn't give much information.

You might also use it's correct cultivar name, Lagerstroemia 'PIILAG-V', and search that way. Midnight Magic is just a trade name. I see a number of nurseries that provide some info about this one. I don't have it, but now I want one.

I recommended and then bought one for my sister last spring. I'll ask her about it next time I see her but don't expect much valuable information to come from her lol
