| Yes, they are often passed by. |

| Good idea to spray new plants so if deer do try them their first experience is a terrible one. They remember that. And they spread the word. |

| Depending on the size you may have another enemy...the rabbit. They love lilac around here. It may depend on the culivar but korean is one they love. Although they typically bounce back quite nicely. |

| We had lilacs for a few years that never bloomed until we realized the deer were eating the new growth. I have seen the deer try to stand on their hind legs so the could reach the highest top growth. Pam |
