Can anybody help me identify this hedge?
It is getting too tall for the bay window that it is in front of and I want to know how hard I can cut it for height and/or the best way to do it. I am in Lyndonville, NY 14098 |

| Probably a burning bush. Cut down to low stumps at end of winter. Do not prune again until some years of re-growth has resulted in size being more than you want, then repeat procedure. This way an attractive natural shape (above the stumps) can be maintained between renovations. |
