Rhodomyrtus last summer

Small and evergreen shrub about 3 feet tall. Grow in milder climate.

Tropical noxious invasive listing in Florida and Hawaii.

Definitely a couple of steps up, aesthetically speaking, from the invasive privet shrubs around here!

Pictures were taken in India. I hope you could allow others to enjoy it :-) There are also infertile cultivars as well.

I agree it's pretty, I have a rough steep hillside in back I wouldn't mind letting it 'invade', but it wouldn't be hardy here.
