| I have a few Wine and Roses weigelas that I planted about four years ago. They do bloom but are not as full as promised and are very leggy. I am not sure what to do. Please advise. Should I prune them back now or wait? |

| hard to be precise w/o a picture .. WELCOME TO GW!!!! this type of shrub lends itself well to rejuvenation pruning ... AFTER flowering ... see link they are a full sun plant.. leggy usually means.. they MIGHT not be getting proper sun ... i would NEVER simply give them a haircut ... or you will be rejuvenating them in a few years .... any chance at a picture???? ken
