A friend of mine obtained this beautiful flowering tree/shrub near Augusta, GA as a small seedling many years ago. I think he said it has a small star shaped capsule type fruit...Any Ideas?......Thanks in advance.

Looks like you nailed it bboy! This must be an early bloomer as the info I "googled" suggested blooming in May!

Thanks again,

Wow - I've never seen one that big. I've never seen one taller than about 5 feet. This one is a small tree. Exochorda x macrantha 'The Bride'.
