get rid of them.. and not for the reason you think ....

they have too much potential for being planted that close to the house ... and i dont even know what they are ... lol..

that and the fact.. that even if they recover ... it might take a year or two.. and this is a prime focal point of your house. ...

if you want/need some landscaping ideas.. one of the various GW forums can help .... but we would need pix of the entire front of the house ... if you wish to remain with conifers.. which these are... you might also try that forum ....

keep in mind.. that foundation plants are planted to hide the foundation.. NOT ON THE FOUNDATION... as these have been ... they were planted.. with no thought of how big they can get in 5.. 10.. 15 years .. and trust me.. we all made that mistake.. in the way back machine ...
