| Around here (north metro_ATL, GA) I see what looks like 2 different varieties of dark 'purple' shrub. Both appear to be around the same size (3-4'). One looks full and uniform, more like a 'shrub'. The other is similar in color (dark purple) but has brighter pink flowers and is a little more 'wild'-looking and less uniform in shape.
Now these may be the same variety for all I know, just trimmed and cared for differently, but I like the first one without the flowers. Any ideas? |

| Could be lorapetalum. There are many different cultivars. Some smaller; some larger; varying shades of purple. |

| That looks like the one. Thanks for the help! |
