| I have a smoke bush I cut back each year & it is such a beautiful shrub that way. I need to move it this year. Do I move before budding or after and do I cut back before moving or after? TIA. |

| how big is it??? if it just has to be done.. do it while it is dormant ... you may lose this years bloom ... if you can avoid trimming it back.. do so .. if its too big.. then do it ... IMHO .. if its a huge shrub .. just kill it and go buy another small cheap one ... its not worth the effort in my world ... KS has a z4.. go figure on that ... ??? ken |
