i would not rate life on flowering alon .. many transplants miss a cycle..

you are simply going to have to wait and see..

Witch Hazels bloom over the winter, right? Somewhere between December and February is what I've read.

I planted a Wisley Supreme Witch Hazel a couple weeks ago. It has fuzzy buds all over it, and dh swears they've gotten twice the size since we've planted it, but so far the buds haven't opened.

Post a picture of your shrub so we can take a look at it.

Just as I was about to give up, the witchhazel roared back to life with vigorous think green growth. I always say that perennial gardening is an exercise in patience; guess I should have listened to myself. :)
