 o
Cherry Dazzle Dwarf Crape Myrtle?

Posted by afbq 7 (My Page) on

I'm going to buy 2 CDDCM for my house but I read up here on problems with blooming for some of the other Dazzle dwarf crapes. Does anyone have updated info on the Cherry Dazzle variety? THanks!!

I grew a 'Pocamoke', and it bloomed just fine, BUT the bloom seemed to come later in the season and was rather short-lived. But the main drawback for me was since it's deciduous, it just looked like a tumbleweed in the winter.

Agree with Dave. Blooms don't last long enough on my "Raspberry" (I think). Very late season bloomer here in the north Atlanta area.

They are not the same though, right? I thought they were different varieties, not just different colors?

Not familiar with 'Cherry Dazzle' really. Maybe it has some improvements over the earlier dwarf varieties?

What kind of bloom problems were people talking about?

If you like them, get 'em!
