| I have two Koreanspice Viburna which are about 6 yrs old but are very sparse. I've read that they are supposed to be dense growing. The deer have had a nibble of them in the past, they've struggled to recover and one of them is still yet to flower. They don't seem to produce new branches either. They are in a border at the back of the house which faces NW and gets sun/partial shade. Is there anything I can do promote growth or are they destined to remain this way?
My Viburnum juddi is the same age and has more density, but remains very small. I have trouble visualising this plant as a 6-8 footer! Should I move it from the NW corner of my house? Thank you very much. These are the only two shrubs that I have particular difficulty with and the ones that I want most to get right! Zoe |

| You mentioned they've yet to flower and don't seem to produce new branches. This year, or since you've owned them? Maybe some pics would help...experts might help with a diagnosis. Definitely shouldn't be sparse just because its in partial shade. |
