Weigela-Fine Wine & Midnight Wine....

Can anyone that grows either of these varieties comment on whether they grow true to the size advertised? So much of the time, these shrubs grow larger than what is specified on the tags...

Thanks@

Mine always stayed at about 3-4' as the rabbits chew them down every year! They bounce back and flower nicely by the way.

I have had my midnight wine for years and it has stayed four ft tall. Remember if you are looking for dwarfs make sure they say true dwarf. I have had little Moses true dwarf burning bush in for four years only a foot and half tall

My 'Midnight Wine' is going on three years old from a gallon pot and it is still under 18" tall and wide. Ditto 'My Monet'

Love them both, wish they leafed out faster in spring though, they take a long time...
