Let's see your Fothergillas!

I'm designing my backyard bed and am currently on "shrub selection". Fothergillas have been recommended on many blogs. I see what the leaves are like, but not enough good pics of the habit were available for me on google. I'd love to see your Fothergilla's habit and how you've incorporated it into your landscape. I'm particularly interested in Blue Shadow, but I understand that Mt Airy can do well in the north here, as well.

Don Engebretson (the Renegade Gardener) writes a design column for Northern Gardener's and he has experience with MN weather. He recommends Blue Shadow, which I had almost eliminated as a choice, since I thought it was zone 5. (I'm 5a/4b). Since he's recommending it for zone 3, I figure he has experience with it. So, I'd love to see yours!

I also saw an internet pic of a Blue Shadow standard, which I thought was cool...

Here is a link that might be useful: 5 recommended plants in north by Don Engebretson
